Project Brief Description

For SEF Banquet Hall, Qatar, the client (main/sub contractor) requested that we provide detailed structural drawings and connection designs for this commercial space (banquet hall for the five-star hotel). The requirements were LOD 300, structural and HVAC development. The inputs received from the client were consultant IFC drawings. The project area of the project was 40,000 sq. ft. For this project, we provided a project manager, two detailers and one checker for our client. The deliverables were structural analysis and preparation of calculation report, shop drawings, fabrication drawings (parts), assembly drawings, erection mark drawings, as-built drawings, detailed design of connections and their approvals, clash detection. The software used for the task were Tekla, Autocad, Staad Pro, Limcon, Procon etc. The location of the project was Qatar, and the execution year was 2016.
